Medviso AB (“Medviso”, “we” or “us”) are committed to protect your personal information and respect your privacy. By using our services and software products, you agree that we use your personal information according to this policy.
To the extent that you do provide information to us, Medviso will never sell, or disclose your personally identifiable information to outside parties without your consent. Only with your consent we may share information to our collaboration partners in order to provide support for our products.

Information that we gather and track
We collect your personal information when you send us a support or purchase request for our products, download our software, sign up for our newsletter email list, or when you otherwise voluntarily share your personal information with us. The types of personal information we store will depend on the circumstances around the contact, but will typically include name, contact details (e.g. email address) and, if applicable, job description and resident country. We only collect personal information which is reasonably necessary for us to provide support to you. We only store personal information coming directly from the individuals concerned.
For appointment bookings, we use Calendly, which collects certain information from our website visitors by use of cookies and similar technologies, as described in their Privacy Notice.
To prevent unlicensed and unauthorised use of our software products we reserve the right to monitor the software license server connection (including your IP address) from your usage of our software products. The IP address will only be used for this purpose.
For correcting errors in our software products, for quality assurance purposes, we might store and use pseudo-anonymized data and images voluntary provided by users. We encourage all users to anonymize any patient data prior to sending it to us. If data are stored more than 60 days, then the data will be completely anonymized according to Medviso quality assurance policies and routines. We will protect and safeguard the data provided by users with at least the same degree of care that is used to protect our own data. Anonymization includes measures to ensure that data is not traceable to a particular site.
What we do with the Information we gather and track
We only process personal information necessary to provide our services, fulfill commitments to you, and offer an optimal experience of our services and software products. We will use the personal information to provide you with information about our products and services, including product alerts, releases and upgrades, to allow you to download and use our software products, and to ensure our compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Medviso website uses cookies to enhance your user experience. This includes tracking and analysis tools handled by third parties where they are responsible for the collection of the information.
At times Medviso use contractors to perform services for Medviso internally in the course of our business. Consequently, they may have access to information about our customers in providing those services. Such limited access would be available only to the extent needed to perform the services, under the terms of an executed confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement with Medviso, with the requirement that such contractors keep the information strictly confidential and use the information solely on Medviso’s behalf.
Communications to our users
With your permission, Medviso may send you e-mail regarding new products and upgrades. You may always opt-out of receiving newsletters from us by using the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of our newsletters or contacting us on the details set out below.
Once you supply us with personal information, such as an e-mail address, Medviso does not change the manner of usage of such information from its original purpose, unless we first obtain your informed consent.

Medviso employees are required to acknowledge that they understand and will strictly abide by our corporate policies with respect to the confidentiality of user personal information. Personal login with password are always needed to access personal data we store.
If required by law, we will share information with additional third parties for the purpose of response to legal process or request from authorities.
You may access, correct, delete, restrict the usage, or have transferred the personal information we hold about you by contacting us on the details set out below. Before we provide personal information to you, we may require you to verify your identity by providing us with identification documentation. We will generally provide individuals with access to the personal information we hold about them and stop processing your data as soon as a request is received.
